NV Energy's Expected Performance Based Buydown (EPBB) is an one‐time payment, determined by the expected production of the solar system. 

The EPBB and PBI are a part of SolarGenerations program which is in the last step towards the Nevada Legislature's goal of 250 megawatts of installed capacity for the program. The program also has an incentive budget spending limit set by the Nevada Legislature.

The NV Energy Expected Performance Based Buydown amount is set at a price per watt ($/W) rate. 

For instance, if you installed a 10 kW (kilowatt) system on your home and claimed the $0.20/W rebate, you would get a $2,000 check from NV Energy for the 10,000 W (watts) that you installed.

The actual rebate rate varies depending on your situation and type of project.

How much can I save?

Receiving utility Permission To Operate (PTO) is not a requirement before the end of this year.
